He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Duncan-Thornton; his children, Lex Thornton III of Harrisburg, IL and Alexis Thornton of Calvert City; his siblings, Katherine Duncan of Georgia, Michelle Cletcher of Harrisburg, IL and William Thornton of Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Caden, Kierian, Carson, Cameron, Abigail, Carter and Gabriel Smith.
