He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Schmidt and Jean Lindsey Schmidt; and his siblings, Tina Schmidt and Michael Schmidt. He is survived by : his partner Christie Farmer of Hazel; his sister Sherry Seewer of New Albany, IN; his nephew Michael Griggs; and his stepdaughters, Krista Dowdy of Mayfield and Leslie Thomas of Mayfield. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
