He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wesley and Patricia Ann Barnes (Melton); and his grandparents, Robert, Betty Barnes, George Arvil and Betty Melton.
He is survived by: his children, Nathan Lee Barnes Jr., Ethan Wells, Austin Long and Chelsea Long; his siblings, Nicole Barnes, Betsy Jones (Tony Barnes), Adam Barnes and Marvin Barnes; and his pet Blue. He is also survived by extended family, and friends.
