He was predeceased by: his parents, Powell, Sr. Spurgeon and Eliza Ann Spurgeon (Holbrook); and his siblings, Oliver "Buddy" Spurgeon, Ellis Spurgeon, Gilbert Spurgeon, Charles "Wayne" Spurgeon, David "Bo" Spurgeon, Helen Warnell, Nancy Clum and Sue Stotts.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Malone; his daughter Leeann; his son-in-law James Williams of Campbellsburg; his brother Benny; his sister-in-law Tina Spurgeon of Louisville; and his grandchildren, Kera Merritt, Jaelynn and Presley Williams.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ransdell Funeral Home (7101 Campbellsburg Rd, Campbellsburg, KY 40011). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
