Alma Ruth Williams Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2025, at the age of 92, Alma Ruth Williams of Campbellsville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Hensley and Lizzie Bell Chreene Hensley; her former husband Eugene Wright; her husband Herbert Williams; and her children, Emma Jean Boykin, Wanda Darlene Wright, Johnny Eugene Wright and William Clayton Wright.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Ruth Petitt (Charlie), Theresa Diane Lee (Rick) and Ava Jane Newell (Marc); her stepsons, Lonnie Williams, Donnie Williams and Ronald Dean Williams; and her siblings, Ruby Cunningham, William Hensley, Reba Roberts, Amy Smith, Helen Fields, Marvin Hensley, Hardy Hensley and Curtis Hensley. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the L. R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service (1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
