He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lee Lewis and Nona Ethel Underwood Lewis; his wife Wanda Thompson; his son-in-law James Desten Smith; and his siblings, Ronald Lewis, Norman Lee Lewis, Nancy Giles and Shirley Bell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marilyn Smith and Donna Lee (Mike) of Campbellsville; his grandchildren, Brett Sapp (Gina), Clint Sapp (Stefani), Casey Smith (Bethany), Travis Smith (Ashley), Levi Smith (Berlyn) of Campbellsville, Brittany Sargent (Jeremy) of Murfreesboro, Steven Lee (Stacy) of Lebanon and Nick Lee (Kayleigh) of Elizabethtown; and his great grandchildren, Drew Sapp (Addie), Blake Sapp, Aubrey Sapp, Owen Sapp, Maddox Smith, Kinley Smith, Caroline Smith, Easton Smith, Braxton Smith, Brayden Smith, Luke Sargent, Noah Sargent, Phoenix Lee, Rayna Taylor and Maddie Mattingly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
