He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Fisher Garrett of Elk Horn; his children, Nancy Lee Tungate (Doug Warren) of Campbellsville, Curtis Garrett (Lisa) of Merrimac and Amanda Tucker (Justin) of Knifley; and his grandchildren, Hope Garrett, Cody Garrett (Renee Corbin), Brittany Tungate (Chris Compton), Kelsey Garrett (Austin Harris), Bridget Tungate, Johnny Murphy, Garrett Tucker and Emily Garrett. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
