With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dean Thompson of Campbellsville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2025 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Mat Thompson and Edna Marie Skaggs Thompson; and his sister Louise Shofner. He is survived by: his wife Penny Thomspon of Campbellsville; his sons, Matt Thompson (Stephanie) and Brandon Rucker (Bridgette) of Campbellsville; his grandchildren, Piper Rucker (Gabe Gutierrez), Matilyn Thompson and Maci Thompson; his siblings, Mike Thompson, Danny Thompson (Pam) of Campbellsville, David Thompson (Wanda) of Bowling Green, Wanda Lewis (Buck) and Sue Sprowles (Coleman) of Campbellsville; his mother-in-law Charlene Johnson; and his brother-in-law Elbert Shofner.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home (418 Lebanon Ave, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parrot & Ramsey Funeral Home (418 Lebanon Ave, Campbellsville, KY 42718).
