He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Dabney and Christine Watson Dabney; his wife Barbara Dean Dabney; and his daughter Kristi Dabney Peterson. He is survived by: his son Donald Dabney Jr. (Susan) of Campbellsville; his grandchildren, Paige Dabney-Hunt (Andy), Don M. Dabney (Reagan), Peyton Dabney, Trey Peterson (Dana) and Kendall Peterson; and his great grandchildren, Augustus Hunt, Charlotte Dabney and Lilith Peterson. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home (418 Lebanon Ave, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
