She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Milton and Clady Vaughn (White); her husband Edward Allen Bridgewater, Jr.; her daughter Beverly Joyce Bridgewater; and her siblings, William Hollis Vaughn, Clarence Milton Vaughn, Maurice'Tippy" Vaughn, James Earl "Jake" Vaughn, Elanor M. Miller, Eula Wray Shively and Burnice Louise Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Hazel (Lewis), Brenda Epperson, Lee A. Bridgewater, Gary Bridgewater (Tanya), Kenneth Bridgewater, Hollis Bridgewater (Tina), Wilando "Chop" Bridgewater and Craig Bridgewater (Yvonne); her sisters, Georgia Pryor and Betty Vaughn; and her close friends, Odessa Ford, George and Johnson. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and a host of great and great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
