With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Fred Mitchell Wright of Campbellsville, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Fred left this world on July 18, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Wright and Zelma Moran Wright; his wife Eunice Montgomery Wright; his stepmother Lucille Sweeney; his siblings, Dorothy Judd, Homer Shively Wright and Garland Wright; and his stepbrother Jessie Peppers.
He is survived by: his daughter Connie Wright of Campbellsville; his grandsons, Mitchell Wright of Campbellsville and William Wright of Hawaii; his siblings, Jerry Wright (Jeanie), Peggy Montgomery, Judy Reynolds (Jerald), Nancy Sue Newton and Ruby Kay Jessie (Wayne); and his stepsister Margarette Perkins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the L. R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service (1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens (700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY 42718).
