He is survived by: his wife Louise "Burress" Spurling; his children, Lonnie Spurling (Becky) of Campbellsville, Dale Spurling (Christy) of Campbellsville, Vistia "Sissy" Perkins (George) of Campbellsville, Ricky Spurling of Campbellsville, Todd Spurling (Courtney) of Campbellsville and David Spurling of Elk Horn; his daughter-in-law Becky Spurling of Campbellsville; and his brother Glenn Merredith of Indiana. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
