He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin B. Skaggs and Jennie Nelson Skaggs; his wife Betty Atwell Skaggs; and his brothers, Willard Skaggs and Harold Skaggs.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Lillie Skaggs; and his nieces and nephews, Perry Skaggs (Tracy), Gina Skaggs Cecil (Mike), Harold Atwell, Danny Atwell, Josephine Caulk, JoAnn Sprowles, Larry Skaggs, Linda Walters and Jimmy Skaggs.
