He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie Dobson and Lillie Mae Webb Dobson; and his brothers, Raymond Dobson and Carl Dobson. He is survived by: his wife Corine Dobson of Campbellsville; his children, Howard Dobson Jr. (Jenny) of Campbellsville, Brenda Goodin (Gary) of Campbellsville, Deloris Sapp of Campbellsville and Linda Adkins (Richard) of Greensburg; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson (Alex) of Campbellsville, Jessica Lile (Brent) of Campbellsville, Kara Yocum (Brandon Gowdy) of Campbellsville, Darrell Sapp of Naples, James Adkins (Jennifer) of Greensburg and Michael Adkins (Whitney) of Greensburg. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home (418 Lebanon Ave, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
