He is survived by: his stepmother Mary Elizabeth Johnson; his siblings, Bobby Johnson (Fannie), Marshall Johnson (Bertha), Lonnie Johnson and Beatrice Johnson; his sister-in-law Letha Johnson; and his stepsiblings, Jerry Coulter, Gary Coulter, James Edward Clayton, Sandy Atkinson and Mary Clayton.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of the L. R. Petty Funeral Home (1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crown Hill Cemetery.
