He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Cox Beard of Campbellsville; his daughter Brittany Beard of Elizabethtown; and his siblings, Charlotte Parnell of Florida, Rita Parsons (David) of Campbellsville, Ronnie Beard of Campbellsville and Donnie Beard (Marsha) of Columbia.
