She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Atwood and Retha Sweeden Atwood; and her brothers, Earl Atwood, H. Dee Atwood and Marvin Atwood.
She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Black; her son Brian Black (Marsha) of Campbellsville; her grandchildren, Chris Black (Sarah) of Campbellsville, Grace Black of Campbellsville and Shawn Black (Joel Nault); her great grandchildren, Karson Black and Kylie Black of Campbellsville; her siblings, Ruby Cox (Mac) of Elkhorn, Hazel Sroczynski (Tom) of Liberty, Don Atwood (Brenda) of Casey County and Shearl Atwood of Casey County; her niece Donna Carman of Casey County; her friend Besides; and her sisters, Dorothy Allen and Helen Allen.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for expressions of sympathy be taken in the form of donations toward Gideon Bibles and can be made at the funeral home.
