He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Barnett and Nellie Barnett; and his siblings, Farris Barnett, Warren Barnett (Tom) and Rebecca Garnett.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Barnett (Boo) of Campbellsville, KY; and his children, Jeffrey Barnett (Anita) of Columbia, KY, Stacey Groves of Louisville, KY and Tara Acklin (Charles) of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by 5 granddaughters; 3 grandsons; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the L. R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service (1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at the Crown Hill Cemetery.
