He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edelen and Inis Morgan Edelen; his grandson Russell Veatch; and his siblings, James Edelen, Clarence Edelen, Johnny Edelen, Dorothy Edelen, Clara Edelen and Jewell Edelen.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Edelen of Campbellsville; his children, Tessa Lewis (William) of Springfield, Allen Cox of Florida, Elizabeth Veatch (Donald) of Lebanon, Cathy Null (Mathew) of Bunker Hill and David Cox of Campbellsville; and his sister Ethel Davis of Campbellsville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
