We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2026, at the age of 81, Shirldean Carter of Campbellsville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hub Morris and Alma Morris; and her siblings, George Lindsey and Phyllis Tungate. She is survived by: her children, Ann Milby (Ray) of Greensburg and Dale Despain (Rebecca) of Campbellsville; her grandchildren, Scott Underwood (Sarah) of Campbellsville, Jeremiah Despain (Maegan) of Campbellsville, Hayley Darnell (Bradley) of Tennessee, Emily Despain of Campbellsville and Ethan Despain of Campbellsville; her stepgranddaughters, Kristi Milby of Covington and Heather Milby of Covington; and her brother-in-law Eric Tungate of Campbellsville.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the L. R. Petty Funeral Home (1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718).
