He was predeceased by: his parents, Gobel Wheat and Lora Ann Keith Wheat. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Dickens Wheat of Campbellsville; his sons, Doug Wheat (Patricia) of Campbellsville and Jeff Wheat (Margaret Parson) of Campbellsville; his grandchildren, Jason Wheat (Kristen) and Amy Watkins (Sam); and his stepgrandchildren, Jason Tucker (Brandy) and Amanda Beard. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, 4 step great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
