He was predeceased by : his parents, Dudley Drake and Sarah Ellen Combs Drake; and his brothers, Curt Drake, David Drake and Paul Drake.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara Duff Drake of Campton, Kentucky; his children, Eddie Drake (Debra) of Campton, Daniel Drake of Frenchburg, Kentucky, Kristy Drake of Campton and Rebekah Drake of Owingsville, Kentucky; his brothers, Bill Drake (Yvonne) of Campton, Johnny Drake of Ohio and Garrett Drake (Virginia) of New Jersey; and also Susie Patrick (Lewis) of Campton, Kentucky.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
