He was predeceased by: his parents, Early Spencer and Mamie G. Coomer Spencer; his wife Connie Sue Hawkins Spencer; his stepdaughter Sueann Vanderpool; and his siblings, Arthur Spencer, Jerry Spencer, Floyd Spencer, Omer V. Spencer, James Spencer, Troy Spencer, Betty Halsey and Loubertia Pike.
He is survived by: his stepson Donnie Maloney (Tammy); his grandchildren, Coty Vanderpool of Campton, Jordan Vanderpool of Jackson and Megan Barker; and his sister Lois W. Prows of Pine Ridge, Kentucky.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Porter and Son Funeral Director's Chapel (769 Main St, Campton, KY 41301).
