He is survived by : his wife Rosemary Reed Adkins of Campton, Kentucky; and his sisters, Mildred Crowe of Campton and Alberta Wireman of Prestonsburg, Kentucky..

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Porter & Son Funeral Directors (769 Main St, Campton, KY 41301). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
