She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Slayton and Fannie Mae Waldron Slayton; and her siblings, Roger Dale Slayton, Cecil Lewis Slayton, Johnny Ray Slayton, Bonnie Faye Slussar, Zella Mae Boggess, Mildred Lee Fairchild and Nancy Welch.
She is survived by: her brothers, William Jackson Slayton of Columbus and Eddie Dean Slayton (Susan) of Wisconsin; her granddaughter Bella Gibbs of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; and her close friends, Isiah Dean and Linda Teague.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Porter and Son Funeral Director's Chapel (769 Main St, Campton, KY 41301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
