With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fayetta Barton of Caneyville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 16, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rex Hayse and Olive VanMeter Hayse; her husband Barton; her son Jeffrey Barton; and her brothers, Merlin, Verildean and Ronald Hayse.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Cannon (Mike) of Falls and Bryan Barton (April) of Falls; her grandchildren, Amanda Lambert (Jonathan), Adam Barton, Dustin Cannon (Erin), Austin Cannon (Brittney) and Zelma Barton; and her great grandchildren, Brycen, Brody, Brynlee Lambert, Chloe, Riley Cannon, Kennedy, Carter and Karsen Cannon.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dermitt Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42755). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
