We announce the death of Joe Mitchell Crain of Caneyville, Kentucky, who passed away on June 27, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Forest Crain and Doris Embry Crain Dailey; his siblings, Cliff Crain, Dennis Dailey and Dottie Dailey; and his son James Crain.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Bryant Crain; his siblings, J. B. Crain, Jerry Crain, Charlotte Costello and Linda Sue Dailey; his children, Robert Crain and Jessie Viles; and his stepsons, Billy Bryant, Brad Bryant and Scotty Bryant. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
