With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gordon Ray Davis of Cannel City, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2025 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Davis and Emma Howard Davis; his son Jason Lynn Davis; his granddaughter Tessa Kayleann Grace Davis; and his brothers, David Davis and Ricky Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Perkins Davis of Cannel City, Kentucky; his children, Steven Ray Davis (Lena) of Cannel City, Kentucky and Carrie Allen (Adam) of West Liberty, Kentucky; and his siblings, Paul Davis (Denise) of West Liberty, Kentucky, Timothy Davis of West Liberty, Kentucky, Linda Adkins (Vondle) of Cannel City, Rita Lafferty of Springfield, Alice Childers (Roger) of Louisa, Pamela Lunsford (Mike) of Ashland, Robin Williams of West Liberty and Nancy Wright (Jimmy) of Wrigley, Kentucky.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Porter and Son Funeral Directors (769 Main St, Campton, KY 41301). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Porter and Son Funeral Director's Chapel (769 Main St, Campton, KY 41301).
