She was predeceased by: her parents, Reid Disney and Gladys McWilliams Disney; her husband Bodie Messer Jr.; her sons, Tony and Brian Messer; her grandson Johnathan Messer; her sister Jan Sevir; and her brothers-in-law, Albert Mills and Doug Swafford.
She is survived by: her son Gary Messer (Debby) of South Carolina; her sisters, Ilena Mills of Cannon and Rita Swafford of Cannon; and her grandchildren, Angela Alexander (Kenny), Robert Messer (Liana), Walter Messer (Heather), Stephanie Grosbeck (Jim), Isaac Messer (Emily), Matt Messer (Riyam), Rebecca Tinker (Adam), Sarah Crocker (Ben), Jake Messer (Allie) and Gabe Messer. She is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
