He is survived by: his father John Broughton; his sons, Keith Broughton (Brenda) of Barbourville and Jonathan Broughton of Cannon; his brothers, Kenneth Broughton (Vernie) of Taylor, MI, Danny Broughton (Rosemary) of Barbourville, Johnny Broughton (Sudie) of Barbourville and Teddy Broughton (Sherry) of Mackey Bend; and his grandson Braxton Broughton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Knox Funeral Home (325 Knox St, Barbourville, KY 40906). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
