He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ledington and Creasie Higgins Ledington; his daughter Theresa Ledington; and his brothers, Vincel and Waynie Ledington.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Ledington of Cannon; and his children, Kimberly Matthews (Larry) of Cincinnati, OH, Jeana Ledington of Covington, Angela Williams of Huntersville, NC, Mary Barnes of Girdler, Scott Hammons of Cannon, Robert Hammons (Mae) of Bimble and Patsy O'Bryant (Marty) of Pomeroy, OH. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Knox Funeral Home (325 Knox St, Barbourville, KY 40906). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
