She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Davis and Beatrice Smoot Davis; and her siblings, Virgil Davis, Teresa Waverly and Becky Davis.

She is survived by: her husband Norman E. "Deano" Watkins; her sons, Norman Ray Watkins and Andrew Leon Watkins (Wendy); her siblings, Jeffrey Davis (Pam), David Davis, Ray Davis and Lorene Davis; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Bradley, Amber, Ethan, Karoline, Leon and Leland. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
