He is survived by : his mother Geneva Tubbs Steele of Carlisle; his children, Chad Steele (Sarah Jolene Bandy) of Newnan, Stephanie Lynn Martinez (Oscar) of Winchester and Laura Beth Gilleland of Staunton, Illinois; his grandchildren, Micah Steele, Caleb Steele, Christopher Allen Steele, Julie Marie Steele, Lucas Oscar Martinez, Violet Rose Gilleland, Naura Marie Gilleland and Simba Rajah Hupp; his daughter Carla Marie Steele; and his brother Gary Allen Steele.
