He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Kash Sr. and Mildred Catherine Smoot Caswell; his brother Gaylord Caswell; and his niece Melanie Lynn Caswell. He is survived by: his wife Carol June Smith Caswell; his son Steven Douglas Caswell (Karen); and his grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Caswell Randall (Stephen), Tyler Douglas Caswell and Justin David Caswell. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren.
