He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion M. Anderson and Evelyn Miller Anderson. He is survived by: his spouse Wisby Shearer Anderson; his children, Tamila Humphries of Carlisle and Lyle B. "Andy" Anderson, Jr. (Tara) of Brookville, Indiana; his sister Marian Anderson Taylor (late Robert) of Orlando, Florida; his sisters-in-law, Malissa Sexton (Doug) of Nicholas County and Jonetta Shearer (late Ralph Edward) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Lakyn Burchell (Tristan), Timothy Drew Jolly, Tessa Humphries (Cameron Oniszko), Truston Humphries (Nathan Baker), Bryce Felton, Abigail Fields (Kenny) and Brett Anderson; and his great grandchildren, Quentin Lyle, Malcolm James Burchell, Madicc Knox and Omen Wilder Fields.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Carlisle Christian Church (242 N Locust St, Carlisle, KY 40311). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
