Karen Olani Anderson Obituary
The memory of Karen Olani Anderson of Carlisle, Kentucky, who passed away on June 13, 2025 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry R. Meyer, Sr. and Ivy Meyer of Kapuaokoolau, Molokai; her aunt Hannah Meyer (Karen); her siblings, Teddy Meyer, Wayne Meyer, Lynn Yamaguchi (Jim) and Wendy Kekahuna (Loke); her brother-in-law Charles Keliikipi; and the father of her children William G. P. Anderson (Billy).
She is survived by: her siblings, Henry R. Meyer, Jr. (Hilda) of Georgia, Timmy Meyer (Donna) of Molokai, Noelani Keliikipi of Molokai and Karleen Meyer of Kauai; her children, Tammy VanHook (Danny) of Carlisle, Derek Anderson (Regina) of Paris and Brian Anderson (Aubrey) of Cynthiana; her grandsons, Quentin Mitchell (Kayla Garrison), Samuel VanHook (Clarine), Oliver, Silas, Oxley, Lucas, Finley and Walter Anderson; her great grandchild Audrey Mitchell; and also, Brayden Garrison, Carrie Jean and Raymond Anderson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home (105 S Locust St, Carlisle, KY 40311). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Anyone wishing to donate food may deliver it to the Church after 11:00 a.m. on the day of the service, June 21, 2025.
