She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Elmer Rose and Ora Lee Gordon Rose; and her siblings, Mary Lee Bates, Elmer Junior Rose and Junior Lee Rose.
She is survived by: her husband J. D. Smith of Carrollton, KY; and her sons, Donnie Smith (Diane) of Carrollton, KY. and Shawn Smith (Deana) of Carrollton, KY.. She is also survived by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Cove Hill Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
