He is survived by: his children, Timothy Barrell of Carter City, KY, Stephen Barrell of Carter City, KY, Tammy Rose (Dennis) of Richmond, KY, Laranna Lynn May of Richmond, KY and Danielle Hudson of Lexington, KY; his grandchildren, Alica Rose, Heather Horn (J. R.), Devin Barrell, Dylan Barrell (Alivia), Lynsey Bates (Kaleb Dye), Lauren Bates (Tanner Sammons) and J. C. Bates; his great grandchildren, Harley Barrell, Eli Horn, Jolie Horn, Sherrod Horn, John Charles Barrell and Mackenzie Barrell; his sister Marla Kimble (Allan) of Zanesville, OH; and his daughter-in-law Tamela Barrell.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Malone Funeral Home (325 Malone Ln, Grayson, KY 41143). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
