He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Peter Phillips and Matilda Marcella Rahl Phillips; and his wife Marilyn L. Phillips. He is survived by: his son Christopher S.; his daughter-in-law Theresa Phillips of Catlettsburg, Kentucky.; his daughters, Robin M. (Joseph Mata) and Tammy B. (Michael Long); and his grandchildren, Jessica Esper, Michael Phillips, Katlyn Agosta, Malissa Egan, Darci Jordan, Chase Phillips, Stephanie Corrigan, Shelbie Felgenhauer, Hunter Long and Mason Long. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
