He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Conley McCarty of Catlettsburg, KY; his sons, Mark McCarty (Melissa) of Georgetown, KY and John McCarty of Lexington, KY; his grandsons, Alex Mason McCarty and Wyatt Adriel McCarty; his sisters-in-law, Norma McCarty of Ocala, FL and Donna McCarty of Paintsville, KY; and his sister Karen Joyce Ousley (Gary) of Oil Springs, KY. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
