He is survived by: his children, Columbus B. Partin (Christine) and Jodie Rae Spriggs; his grandson Rodney Sterling Spriggs, II; his brother Kenneth "Quick"; his sister-in-law Joyce Barker; and his sister Barbara Ann Day.
