She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Carlos Vance and Eliza Watts Vance; her sister Bessie Mullins; her grandson Brandon Matthew McKenzie; her nephew Steve Kinser; and her niece Carla Jo Workman Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Pete Dalton; her daughters, Robin Dalton of Catlettsburg, Kammra Hemmann (Kenny) of Ashland and Beulah McKenzie of Ashland; her siblings, George Vance (Nioka), Evelyn Kinser, Carry Vance and Ruth Workman (Eddie) of Seth WVa; her grandchildren, Kimberly Napier (Jon), Ashley Williams (Spencer) and Kathryn "Katie" Hemmann; her great grandchild Abygail "Abby" Williams; and her close friend Barb Hardy.
