With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James David Conley of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on December 11, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earl and Ethel Faye Miller Conley; his sister Thelma Kay Castle; and his sons, Casey Garrett Conley and Clayton Don Goble.

He is survived by: his children, Catherine "Grace" Conley, Conner Benjamin Goble and Chase Meade Goble; and his siblings, Mike Conley (Doodle), Dale Conley (Linda), Liz Coberly (Charles "Dee') and Mike Conley, Jr.. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.

“I only got to know David over the past year. The things I learned about him in that time were not what I expected to find. Despite his rough biker appearance I found out he was a big softie. He loved his daughter Grace more than anything in his world. He missed his family that had passed very much. He loved to read and was a deep thinker. My grandmother was sick at the time and he checked on me and her daily for weeks. I will never forget his kindness.”
