He was predeceased by : his parents, Kennith Eugene "Gabby" and Juanita Osborn; his brothers, Robert Fannin and Teddy Osborn; and his son Eric Stamper.

He is survived by : his children, Roy Osborn II of Hamilton, Robert E. Osborn of Catlettsburg and Lucretia Smithers of Ashland; his brothers, Ronnie Osborn of Flatwoods, Larry Osborn (Sue) of Richmond, Denver Osborn (Ellen) of Georgetown and Rick Osborn (Madonna) of Greenup; his grandchildren, Amanda, Cortney, Dustin, Hannah, Zachary, Khyla, Eathan, Eric and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Rain, Aubrey, Able, Jackson, Levi, Farah, Nevaeh, Savannah and Octavia; and his pet Willie.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Music Family Funeral Home (224 Main St, Greenup, KY 41144).

“im so sorry to hear this . just because we hardly see each other doesnt mean that i dont love you all .. i think about you a lot ,, at 73 and us with medical problems its hard to travel , i went down to Rolys (Waynes) and visited a couple time and had to turn around and go back to his funeral it almost took me down .anyways Roy will be missed and like i said just because i dont see you guys very much doesnt mean i dont think about you . love you all and may God bless Kenney & Dette Fannin.”
