We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2025, Ruth Ann Schroeder of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, born in Monaca, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband David L. Schroeder; her parents, Clarence Bohon and Vivian Bohon (Liller); her brothers, Chris, James and Ralph Bohon; her in-laws, Jeremiah and Betty Schroeder; her grandson Michael Juratovic; her children, David Schroeder, Jr. of Ky, Jennifer Schroeder DeLuca (Phil) of Rochester and Christina Schroeder Hensley (Derek) of Ky; her grandchildren, Kimberly Brace (Simeon), Isabella Grace Birch, Andrew David Birch, Logan Hensley, Lauren Hensley, Kadence Schroeder Belic and Jonathan Schroeder; her great grandchildren, Luke and Asher Brace; and her sisters, Jane Smith (Paul), Rita Megill (Bruce) and Sue Porebski (Fred).
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Simpson Funeral and Cremation Service (1119 Washington Ave, Monaca, PA 15061). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Beaver Cemetery.
The family has suggested memorial contributions be made in Ruth's memory if desired to either St Jude Research Hospital, Tunnels 2 Towers, or a local women's shelter.
