She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldie Lee Newsome Woods and Jack Woods; her husband Jimmy Sturgill; her daughter Peggy Maynard; and her brothers, Roy Woods, Robert "Bob" Woods, Vance Woods, Jack "Mink" Woods Jr. (Patricia) of Catlettsburg, KY and Clifford Woods.

She is survived by: her son Billy Ray "Junebug" Maynard (Regina) of Cattletsburg, KY; her friend Patty Woods; and her pet Buddy. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
