He was predeceased by: his wife Regena Joan Bishop; and his parents, Virgil Irvin Bishop and Mary Leona Bishop. He is survived by: his sons, James Bishop Jr. of Cave City and Kevin L. Bishop of Cave City; his grandchildren, Sara (Corey), Kyle, Casey (Josh), Justin, James, Kimberly (Christian), Conner and Taylor; and his sister Mary Jo Enteman. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
