He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Jones and Margaret Jones; his grandparents, Tom, Sarah Jones, Taft and Vera Price; and his brother Frank Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jones of Cawood; his children, Tabitha Sage (Danny) of Kildav, KY, James Jones (Shirley) of Frankfort and Joseph Jones of Cawood; his adoptive daughter Christine Collins of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Isaiah Sage, Cassie Sage, Lelia Pace and Emily Jones; and his siblings, Michael (Linda), Edwina Jones of Cawood and Robin Key (Jim) of Knoxville, TN.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family ask memorials be made to Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, PO Box 763, Harlan, KY to help ease the burden of funeral expenses.
