He was predeceased by: his parents, Blane Grubbs and Sudie Swanson Grubbs; his brothers, Harvey, Hayward, Franklin, Ken, Lawrence and Oscar; his nephews, Kenneth Wayne Grubbs, Rick Ruark and Pat Grubbs; Mae Ruark and Dwain G. "Twrep" Smith.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bonnie Haynes, Pauline McElwain, Dixie Davidson, Louis and Carl Grubbs; his sister-in-law Freda Grubbs (Derek Abbott); and his close friend Brandon Haynes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
