He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Jefferson Owens and Mildred Melvinie Cox Owens; his wife Karolyn Sue Owens; and his brother James Owens. He is survived by: his daughter Julie Owens Pursifull (Greg); and his grandchildren, Anna Pursifull (Saugat Bohara) and Jacob Pursifull (Tabitha). He is also survived by Many other family members and friends.
